Okay....52 hits, and only one response from the entire Los Angeles area???

Are you kidding me?

Let's try this...if you live within 20 miles of Pasadena, reply.

I at least what to know who is out there!

We can work out the rest later.

Dino,

I know there's the Cobra Owners Club of Los Angeles that I think meets regularly in La Canada at or near Lynn Park's home. And there's LASAAC that meets (last night) toward the LAX area. Both are a little bit of a hike from Sierra Madre. I lived in Temple City just south of you for 32 years and never heard of any activity regarding Mustangs or Cobras to my knowlege nearby. The active Clubs were a ways off. The closest thing was Irwindale Raceway. I had a real nice GT 350 replica but never met friends with similar interests nearby.

I now live in San Clemente on weekends, but still maintain a residence in Temple City during the week. Unfortunately, the Cobra is in San Clemente. I just went on a drive with the San Diego Club down toward Pechanga and that area and it was great. There's some folks that live in the Yorba Linda area and areas south and east of Brea and Diamond Bar, but that is still a ways off from the foothills communities where you are. I think the Cobra Owner's Association of Los Angeles is probably your closest bet. Sorry this wasn't much help.

Thumbs up Time And Location

Okay...I think to start off, I am suggesting the Corner Bakery at Hastings Ranch. There is plenty of parking, and we can keep an eye on the cars. The restaraunt is located just off the 210 freeway, so easy access is possible from several directions.

Again, if interested, pipe in and let me know...I will be there no matter what.

When: Saturday 10/20/2007
Where: Corner Bakery

Hastings Ranch
3807 E. Foothill Blvd.
Pasadena, CA 91107
Phone: (626) 351-0464

Time: 09:00AM – 10:00AM or so…

Contact: Michael White
Phone: 650-490-0815 (Bay Area Area Code, but I live in SoCal)

I'm in when you split the difference. Maybe Azusa or Glendora on Route 66 and then take a run up the hill to Baldy or Glendora Ridge.

If you guys are up for it, I'll get Frank, the social director to work it out. I just go where I'm told.

Default Saturday Morning Recap

Well, we had three Cobra's at the Corner Bakery, and lot's of on-lookers with praise for the cars.

Adley, John and I shared some breakfast and had a great time telling tales and sharing our hobby experiences.

We will do it again this upcoming Saturday, October 27th, 8:30AM at the Corner Bakery, with a new component to the mix...a cruise up the mountains. Maybe a 2-3 hour jaunt, starting at the Corner Bakery at 9am.

Any thoughts on this route?
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...&t=h&z=13&om=1

We could do a complete loop, up 39, East on East Fork Rd, and back down on Glendora Mountain Road.

Let me know who can participate.

Any interest in a drive this Saturday?

With the fires, it has been tough on all. I hope anyone and everyone affected can get their lives back on track.

If not a drive, is there any interest in meeting at Corner Bakery?

Please let me know if anyone has any interest.

Cheers
Michael
