No, not really (and mine is easily removable so it's not a big deal to check). If I recall correctly, it wasn't so much the TP that limited performance a bit, but rather the smaller air cleaner that you then had to use. The K&N filter though seems to have lessened that impact quite a bit. There is a reasonably authoritative paper floating around, maybe on the SecondStrike web site, that analyzes all of that. Using a K&N filter with the TP gets you pretty close to the performance of no TP and a bigger air cleaner. |
