For the oil pressure line I would not leave the stock plastic pipe one. -- doug put up the link on the fix, I remember finding all the parts i needed at a local hydraulic supplier.

I have not had any issues with my oil pressure line but you can buy a brass oil pressure line for about $14.00 look at Oreily's and Autozone. Just dont kink the line when installing.

I had a bad heater core...it leaked from day one. It was replaced w/o question or excuses. I had a couple electrical issues, one because of a bad bulb of all things the others due to a pinched wire in the loom under the dash. Other then that, no problems. I wish my new Dodge was so trouble free, it seems to love to go visit it's friends at the dealership.

This was just the thread I was looking for.
I'm a newbie, though I shouldn't be calling myself that... at this point I'm still a tire kicker. I've been trying to figure out what direction I wanted to go with and it seemed down to SPF or BDR (unless my lottery #'s hit tonite, then it may be a CSX).
What I'm kinda concerned about is handling, maintenance, reliability, and the dreaded resale value. SPF's have a bit more attention paid it seems to the finer details, but again, BDR is no slouch by any means.

Is there any further reading or website I should be looking to for further education?

Thanks for your help, keep the rubber on the road.
