I have 3M, and had them go a little higher than normal on the nose. Not one rock chip on the car, and the stuff is not very noticable (at least on silver). I have been very happy with it.

I've used the the clear bra produts on several cars now... and it just flat out works.

Question for those who have the clear bra installed over your racing strips. Since the painted strips have a ridge from being higher than the base body paint.... did the clear bra complete seal over/aroind the edge for a nice clean finish?.... i.e, no gaps/air pockets?
