Double check the upper rad hose connection. You may want to double clamp the hose to rad spouts. Do not overtighten the clamps as too tight does NOT increase the seal. Sometimes if a hose is leaking all it takes is to remove it, clean the hose and the nipple and reinstall.

And when will the BDR guys jump into this thread and tell us how "Brand X" NEVER leaks and how fast Suzy Creamcheese's silver car is????

Mark IV, still fiesty I see... Fine, I'll play along, we have special leak-proof BDR only radiators, you should order one from Cashburn. My friend with an SPF replaced the clamps and fixed his leak (yes, I have friends and yes, some have SPF or FFR's and we still talk to eachother)

My silver car is not that fast though, I don't have the "well built SMALL BLOCK FORD" that Tony Martin drove to set the low E.T. at Road America.

It's not preconceived that the radiator will leak on an SPF. I have owned three of them and none of them leaked until I took the hoses off. Double check clamps and hoses. My Jaguar XJS12 on the other hand didn't leak either. The big cat did however mark it's territory. Alot.........
