CCopra,

Tag. Wo wohnen Sie? There are some nice back roads around the Schwarzwald.

Autobahn would be fun for awhile. I'm sure you have earplugs for the open spots and radiator coolant for the staus.

Would love to take a couple runs up the mountains in Bavaria. And of course the Nordschleife would be fun in the Cobra.

Bob

Hello CCopra,

greetings from the Netherlands. These cars are great (and very fast). I live less than an hour from the German border. If ever you want, come over and visit me. When the weather is fine I can take you for a tour in the area I live. We can take both SPF's or we can take one of the cars. The surroundings are very nice to drive.
We have a meeting with the Dutch Cobra Club every first sunday of the month. PM me if you want to visit.
Where do you live in Germany?

Your English is fine.....it must be a blast to drive one of these cars in Europe.....but, with all due respect, I will have to disagree somewhat with your comments about Porsche ...(Even suspecting they were made in jest and as a way of acknowleding the stupendous performance of the Superformance). I have owned several 911's including my current 993 and I have driven them on the autobahn and on the backroads of the American West and they are very capable GT machines. There are dozens of cars that can go 130 MPH but damn few that can go 130 miles in a hour...and a Porsche can do that with the air on the the radio playing ...quitely and comfortably. I would not want to drive my Superformance that fast that far. I read in here that people drive these cars at those speeds but not me.
Anything over 85 is too much for me. Just saying, just my opinion.
