Installing a 5 or 6 point harness
I just took delivery of my SPF 1352 and would like to install racing harnesses.
Because of our local registration rules, they will have to be FIA and/or ECE compliant.
Sine I would like a rotary cam lock release, that means FIA then. ECE requires push button release.
But all the ones that I can find in Europe are either wrap around design (which is not going to work) or snap-on clips that hook into eyebolts.
Has anyone replaced the normal seat-belt bolts with eyebolts already? Thread should be standard 7/16 UNF. Is there enough clearance?
Also how would I hook the 2 shoulder belts up? Do the 2 clips fit into 1 eye bolt (from what I see, there is only 1 hole on each side in the cross beam behind the seats)
