Hardest part on my car was cleaning off the urethane from the factory gluing on the dust boots. Value? Corners smoother, moved my steering wheel shake 10 mph lower to 60 mph( never there long anyway).
Follow RT's instructions and all will be good. If the stud does not fit snug in the spindle you will need to order RT's reamer tool as I had to do. The original ball joints are junk!! They were real difficult to move the stud side to side or turn. The new joints spins with the tip of your fingers!! My results were that I did notice less effort turning with my Yokohama Avids. When I changed to Avon's tires because of the soft tread compound turning required a little more effort or as it was before I changed the joints with the Yoko tires. Very pleased with the joints!!
I opted to buy the tool to remove/install them. Breaker bar...do not use an impact. I had to add a little (not much) heat to get mine to break lose on one side.
When you get the old stockers out you will see how crap they are. The CV stuff is top notch.
