Default Shoulder Harness upgrade

Looking to upgrade my car with shoulder harness. Only has the lap belts. SPO#2811. When going thru the wall behind the seat, is there one attaching point or two for the shoulder belts? Want to get it right the first time. I've seen both the double shoulder belt and one that goes over both shoulder and looks like a "Y".

The guys are correct - single bolt thru. There is a vertical piece of steel on the back side of the cockpit. Check it out with the car on a hoist. That is what you want to bolt thru. Be sure to measure both sides as the body could be a little off center when secured to the frame and since that is not a wide frame part you could miss center of it.

I used a marine grade eye bolt with fender washers.

I can send you directions for installing the "Y" shoulder harnesses. Going to 2 belt connections will take modifications or the addition of a crossbar on the hoop. My email is below.

I'll take any info I can get and appreciate it. My email is brdslayr@charter.net Hopefully I can find a part number and just buy the shoulder part of the harness.

I got my shoulder harness from DJ Safety Inc. I believe the part number was "330300" which is a 3" "Y" black style harness. Give them a call

When you get the ass end up and wheels off, you can see the hole in the frame and locate the slot in the bulkhead behind the carpet. Slit that with an exacto knife.
You want a harness set with a single metal bracket, which you bolt up through the cross member. i think I used a grade 10 5/16" bolt and large washers with a lock nut. Takes about 10 minutes a side.
Did mine the same time I installed the shock mount upgrade, last summer.
