Bill, you bring up a excellent point here. I do remember the "Ferrari Wars" back in 1988-91" when the prices on those cars went nuts, I had a couple of friends that sold their cars, for LARGE sums of money, only to realize they were left with just the money, and no cars, and to get back in they needed to spend that money & more. I know Barrett & Jackson, seem to like to start a trend (Pick-up, Resto-Mods, Muscle cars, Etc) every year. You thinking this may be one of those trends? Thank you Bill, for your fore thought, cheers TommyRot.

That was the era of "you didn't pay too much, you just paid too early!" Many "investors" ended up losing their hats and fannies as I recall. One genius used his 66 GT350 as collateral for a loan to buy cars to resell. It went well until the market corrected...he had to sell a car for a loss to cover the loan payment. Then another sale upside down. But it will come back he thought. When it was all over he not only didn't have the inventory cars but no longer owned his free and clear GT350 and was still into the bank for some large. Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered!
