Default Looking for big brake kit

Looking for a big brake kit for my 15 inch wheels. Anyone found a good kit? Just want more breaking power. Everything on the car is original from superformance.

12.19” Wilwoods was about as big as I could fit under 15” alloys.

You can achieve more clamping power without increasing rotor size by using larger diameter pucks on the brakes, or by decreasing the mc diameter.

The stronger clamping will be accompanied by needing more pedal pressure.

Are you after shorter stopping distance or less pedal pressure?

We have both four piston and six piston Wilwood kits for early SPFs, with solid rotors and slotted/drilled rotors as well. info@timemachinesauto.com What is the SPO # of your chassis?

Brakes that aren't properly broken-in and/or lightly used over a period of time tend to develop a glaze that significantly diminishes braking performance.

The first thing I do with marginal brakes is deglaze the rotors and pads and go through a rotor / pad break-in (burnish) procedure. That has solved the problem for me and those I've advised far more often than it hasn't.

If that doesn't do it, my next step would be a new set of pads with a compound matched to the type of driving I'll be doing.

I'd do all of the above before looking for different brakes.

Not a kit, just a bunch of parts I put togeter years ago. (when I worked at Wilwood)
This was the biggest package that could fit inside the 15" SPF wheel

12.75x1.25 rotor with a narrow front superlite 6R caliper

I will warn you, If youre looking for better braking power, this alone will not get you there. The real issue is the pedal ratio/ master cylinder size/ booster.

Im on my third m/c - pedal itteration. currently working on a underfloor mounted, hydroboost actuated dual m/c rig with a balance bar
