Actually, there will be a new and improved manual that will be available soon. It will cover all the MKIII cars. Has more information than you can believe on the cars and their variations over the years...No information available yet to pass on to everyone, but I'll post when more info is available.

No, not thru me. You'll just have to sit tight for a while till its made available. But you can always ask questions here or on SCOF if you have any problems. There is a tremondous amount of tech knowledge in both places...

My manual for #375 shows jacking points (the entire box frame is outlined). This does not address the question of where the proper points are for lifting with a 2 post lift. Any help out there would be appreciated. |

I'm assuming (you know what they say about that) your Cobra is close to 50/50 front to rear weight distribution. If so, place the outrigger supports under the box frame as close as possible to the front and rear wheels. The weight of the vehicle should then be close to equally distributed on the four supports of the two post lift. Before you raise the wheels of the vehicle more than a few inches off the ground, check to make sure the weight is distributed evenly. You can do this by pushing down on both the front and back of the vehicle with as much of your weight as possible. This is all predicated on the vehicle being fully assembled and you not removing any components with significant weight while on the lift. The preceeding advise is offered by someone who is not certified/nor qualified to give advise to anyone and only offered for your consideration. So, if your Cobra should fall off the lift, that's on you. |
