Ya sure those weren't machined by Dooney and Bourke?

I have had many calls from people wanting to buy the Shelby snakeskin valve covers in my gallery. You HAVE to buy the Roush/Shelby engine to get them.

I like the air cleaner covers MORE than the valve covers.
What does Shelby have to do with the engine?

Your opening post said you did not know the cost (edited today).
The quote above says you didn't post the price for a reason.
Help me understand Mitch, you say you didn't post the price because you didn't know what it was, did you later find out what the cost was and not post it because it was so high?
Two grand for a set of valve covers is exorbitant even by serious racing standards, then you get to pay all that cash to advertise someone else's company name on top of your engine.
The covers are very slick no doubt, but for two thousand dollars they should be. I bet the demand for these covers will be very good.
IMHFO....at that price, I would be hoping for some form of sexual favors from those covers.
