OK....The battery shows 12.6 at rest. The solenoid shows 12.6 at rest on the positive side.
When I crank it, the battery drops to 12.2. The solenoid drops to 6.7.
While cranking, the positive side of the starter also drops to 6.7 .
Do you think the cable that runs from the solenoid to the starter is grounding out?
