sparks, your in the USA, that is not allowed here. We cut the Aussies some slack because of the stringent laws they have to deal with.

YOU? No soup for you!

Viper engine? Gotta give the guy some soup, some applications are just so outrageous they stand on their own.

I hear what your sayin BUT it did say cobra 427 on the valve covers. If it was going to be my last cobra that I take to my death bed I would seriously think about it. Dont know if a gt500s/c engine would fit in a spf ??

So when I was a Kid, I had that AMT kit of the 289 Cobra. 1/25 scale (several of them)

The AMT kit was a 289 Slab side leaf spring car. -- I built that thing soooo many times between 1983 and 1985 or so ( high school , before I discovered girls)

Alternate Versions I remember building ;

1.a 289 based 12 cylinder. -- 2x 289 blocks, front 6 from one , rear 6 from the other with 6 x 2 bbl webbers. (think 330 GT Ferrari engine)

2. Porsche 928 engine , twin turbos, transaxle, and suspension. (has the effect of being big block sized in a smaller scale car.)

3. twin turbo inline 6 made from 2 SVO mustang engines , a cosworth V8 (2 heads made into the DOHC 6 head) and a canted over 20-30 degrees to clear the hood, like a mercedes gullwing / SLR with a custom crafted coil over suspension on all 4's.

4. 308 Ferrari V8 engine with custom super charger and fuel injection.

I do remember pulling the V12 out of the one car and inserting it into a SVO mustang chassis and interior with a GTP mustang race body -- that was the ultimate street car model.

So I have graduated to 1:1 Scale -- SPF 2734 is the first one.
