1. Clutch engagement (or disengagement ) and pilot bushing interference
2. Trans oil consistency. Too thick >?
3.-- I would drop the trans fluid and pass it through a white paper coffee filter to examine for shavings.
after that , i would look at shifter interference. (ok so 4 things...
