Brent's right. It's pretty hard to see the sides of the block. If they're painted any shade of black, even a half-ass paint job, you really can't see them at all. And you can't tell if the block has been cleaned up, deburred, etc. -- you can barely see it. This is the eye angle on most of our cars with an FE in them (small blocks are a different story).

So someone bought a Jim Osborne decal kit for a Ford of some sort and decided to use them on a "Cobra"
The FoMoCo antifreeze tag was never used at Shelby. And the "Autolite" voltage regulator decal is installed on a footbox? he "Caution Fan" decal was not used on Cobras and the oil filler cap decal was not used on the chrome oil caps.
Any other critiques wanted?

I keep track of when I changed my antifreeze with that tag, and one of my kids enjoyed putting that Autolite on -- the car will be his one day as well. Are you having a bad day or something?

I like the decals as I prefer to have my motor look period correct rather than to try to duplicate an original cobra. I guess it's that question of kit car for personal fun, or kit car for imitation authenticity. ( does that even make sense?) lol

Makes perfect sense. I think Mark IV is just cranky that he's stuck trying to to sell SPF cars in today's depressed economy, so he's taking it out on ERA cars.
