Excalibur, at WOT the total timing is 26* mechanical PLUS 12* static timing for a total of 38*. At idle I have 12* static plus 14* of vacuum advance for a total of 26*. The vacuum idle is completely gone at WOT. I found this online article which seems to explain the whole thing very nicely. What About Timing And Advance
