Default Friday Night Cookout San Marcos?

I saw this in the agenda and was wondering, Is this in the hotel parking lot or at the Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill who is sponsoring it?

Friday, March 25th
Cookout 5:30-7:30pm (weather permitting) Co-sponsored by Bikinis' Sports Bar and grill. Photo-ops with Bikinis' employees

Austin is hosting in the parking lot. We have a sponsor for most of it, but I can't remember who. I am sure Ken will be by in awhile and can fill in the rest. Just dogs and burgers, nothing too fancy.

Steve,

Dogs & burgers works for me, anything you don’t have to eat with a fork and plate. That way you have one hand free to hold a beer.

Have not mentioned it yet but as usual you guys have done a great job putting the event together.

Thanks,
Gary

Here is the low-down for Friday evening:

From 5:30-7:30pm in the parking lot of the hotel we (the Austin gang, HMS, and Bikinis') will be hosting a hamburger/hotdog cookout. Hurricane Motorsports was kind enough to sponsor the event and the crew for Bikinis' will be there is assist in serving the plates and offering up a few photo-ops. Bikinis' is also providing the BBQ pit.

This all came together because of requests from previous attendees to do something outside at the hotel. The cost will be a cash donation to Operation Comfort (min. $5). I am planning on a headcount of approx 200. Also, we are not making any promises on serving everyone. It will be first come first served. When it runs out that will be it.

The menu will be hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and sodas. No forks needed, so your drinking hand should be free to use at will. Any other food items you want you gotta bring yourself.

We will not be purchasing the food items until Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. That way we should have a better idea on what the weather will be like. If there inclement weather we will cancel the cookout on Friday and everyone will be on their own for dinner.

Hope this answers everyone's questions.

Ken Walker
