I would ask them.

Perhaps they mean they are on the internal list at Shelby American (no published Registry)

They are not in the SAAC World Registry.

I have a friend here in town that owns one. Took delivery a few months ago. It is a beautiful car. Like it was sais above, it is basically a new car wrapped with a '67 body. Handles great, runs great, much better than the originals. Signed by Shelby himself (big deal) and alot of money. Nice car, but I dont care what he says, its still not a Shelby. Save money and buy a nicely built clone, because that is what this is.
