My BDR was built by James and sold to a gentleman in Southlake in 2010. I purchased the car in July of 2013. The owner of the car knew nothing about the car and had messed it up so to speak. After purchasing the car and seeing in the paperwork it was assembled by James Yale I contacted him via email and he was most helpful, so helpful that I drove down from Fort Worth to his shop outside of Houston and spent about 4 hours with him. He explained everything about the BDR's to me and made quite a few helpful suggestions and hooked me up with the parts I needed at a rock bottom price. I have since emailed him quite a few times and he has always answered all of my questions accurately and promptly.

Remember I did not buy the car from him and the car was way our of warrantee. I would not hesitate buying from James if I were to buy a new BDR unless I wanted a Coyote engined one. He will be the first to tell you to call Jay for that. At the same time Jay whom I have only dealt with via email has been just as helpful and knowledgeable.

If buying a Carb'ed BDR in Texas I would buy from James.
If buying a Coyote BDR in Texas I would buy from Jay.
