I poked around on Travelocity to see what the deal is.
Looks like the villas are also 2BR, and considerably larger than the cottages, but $500/night. I think you're paying a premium to be on the lake, and maybe getting a boat slip in the deal too.
The cottages are just under $400/night. I didn't check the prices for double occupancy, but it looks like either way, the way to go would be double up in either. I still lean to the Cottages. They're on the golf course.

There's parking in front of each so you don't have too much concern for hack golfers lobbing balls on the cars, and they'll be out tearing up the asphalt when the golfing is going on. |
