Jay

No I am not saying that. I just think Gary would know something like this. He keeps up with statstics well!

As for the question I have no clue...........

4RE KLR 05-13-2003 07:01 AM

Oh yea Blue with a white stripe......

That narrows it down.

Blake Olson 05-13-2003 07:35 AM

I got it. Robert Brezinski. He drove his GT-40 and his brother in law drove his ERA cobra from San Antonio.

blake

SilverCobra 05-13-2003 08:26 AM

Correct

Correct - Mr. Olsen wins the prize. See guys - I told you that Blake was a lot smarter than he looks.

OK - next question.:D

4RE KLR 05-14-2003 10:54 AM

Ok here is one I do not know the answer to but it would be neat to know.

I do know that Gary Morris knows the answer to this.

Who all has been to every Austin gathering, with the same cobra every year?

427Aggie 05-14-2003 12:52 PM

Well Paul Cass is one, John Russell would be 2...Did Gary have his at the first? That would be 3.

Matt

ERA600hp 05-14-2003 01:36 PM

Mr. Woodard is one

4RE KLR 05-14-2003 04:01 PM

So

Paul Cass
Jim Woodard
Gary Morris
John Russell

Is that all?

4RE KLR 05-15-2003 07:05 AM

I guess so!

Pretty elite club don't you think.

Next Question.

4RE KLR 05-15-2003 07:06 AM

At one of our Austin gatherings (I won't even tell you which one) We all had two VERY special guest.

Who were they?

SilverCobra 05-15-2003 07:13 AM

Two possiblities

Brent Mills and Sherry - TCC Austin #2 - without Brent, TCC and the Cobra world in general would be nowhere compared to now with ClubCobra.com.:D

Elvis and Royal Rhubarb???:p - TCC Austin#4:rolleyes:

4RE KLR 05-15-2003 07:27 AM

Yep
Brent and Sherry at #2

What great people they are.

That was way too easy. That question only lasted about three minuets or so.

4RE KLR 05-15-2003 07:28 AM

Next question

Anyone!

4RE KLR 05-16-2003 07:19 AM

Ok,
Jay helped to come up with this one so here goes. Jay you can correct me if I post this wrong but don't answer it.

At the 2003 Austin gathering, there was a beautiful GT40 in attendance owned by Snakeyes. The car is a replica of another famous GT40, Can you name the OTHER car?

Snakeyes We all know, you know this answer so refrane yourself!

427Aggie 05-16-2003 07:51 AM

Its a replica of the Essex Wire Race car.

Matt

4RE KLR 05-16-2003 08:27 AM

Matt
I told Jay you would answer that question, Because I knew that you knew the answer.

Ok where did Snakeyes get the car?

Again, Matt you should know the answer to this as well.

427Aggie 05-16-2003 09:18 AM

Bought it from CalMetal (Dan) up in the frozen north.

geography question?

There have now been 4 Annual TCC Austin gatherings and if my brain is functioning properly - there have been a total of eight other states represented by Cobra owners bringing their cars or attending sans Cobra. What states are represented? Name the states and car owners/drivers.

Brent Mills - Washington
Doug/Ronnie Reed (and others) - Louisiana
Richard Price - Tennessee
"Flyin' Freddie" - Tennessee
Clois Harlan - Arkansas
W.D. Goldsmith - North Carolina

That's all I can come up with at the moment....

thomi_snake 05-16-2003 11:50 AM

geographical question

I remember, we had the Backdraft guys from Florida in 2003.
In addition, we had the red Arntz Cobra with the Chevy engine driven all the way from California this year as well.
In 2001, Ute & myself joined the Austin meeting from Germany (without Cobra at that time).

We're still lacking some states, but this is all I can think of right now.

Thomas
