MIA's DFW Cobras
Guys, Somebody tell me what in the wide world of sports is going on in the DFW area ????
I invite everyone on the face of the earth to come to a great track event at MSR and only three people have the time to even respond. Guess they don't want to demonstrate their Cobra's abililty to kick some ass.
But this weekend topped it all............. Jim and I went to 7 different Car Shows in the DFW area, and I didn't see one Cobra, Jim spotted one.
What is going on ?? The organizers had to carry trophies home, they can't even give a Cobra trophy away in this area.
So all of you guys are missing the boat, missing hell, the boat left with nobody's on board.
Lonely, db

Future events - new JBL on the way
Well I expect the JBL to arrive in late September to early October... then motor... driving before the kid shows up (hopefully)
Still trying to figure out if a car seat is going to work in the car... Summit has a nice one. but expect me to find a way to the car shows when I have my car.
Especially invites to the track (after a few classes that is) I will be attending any offer to see how well the JBL does on the track
but... I think it is all tom's fault anyway... it is no fun with out captain crunch... I mean the royal one
Hope to see you all soon!

There's been so much shuffling of cars and motors in the group this year. I'm planning a family tree for the next volume of my Cobra scrapbook. It's funny to go thru and point out, "this is Gary S's 3rd car, oh and here's his 4th one - but he doesn't have it anymore. And here's Gary Morris' car, but in this picture it's not his car, it's Kristen's. His NEW car was originally headed to the Baldwins." And then if you talk about motors, it's just as confusing.
OK, that's no excuse for us. But I see the car more than I see Alan these days. I'm not even sure if he's coming to MY car show. Hows about that!?
I wanted to do a dessert night this week, but I've been too busy to post anything. Maybe after I get this car show out of the way I can think about that.

My wheel fell off in front of a college at lunch break.
I was so embarrassed that I'm moving to Canada.
