Wow! Lots of new SPF's in Texas. I'll look forward to meeting everyone. We plan to stay at the Marriott a few days after the meet to see Austin a little. Is that a good plan? We'll be trailering.

Is it Vinyl Contact Tile = VCT?

Awesome Car Tex!!

newmexico, you'll have to tell me what kind of sites you are interested in and I'll point you in the right direction. Austin is culturally rich and has a little bit of everything to see and do. See you in February.

Charmer-

Thanks for offering advice. I don't think we'll probably be there until March how-some-ever.

Our #2 son has the University on his short list for his doctorate starting next fall so we would at least like to drive around it and the area. Certainly we would like to partake of some of that great Austin music. We're fans of Austin City Limits- would we need reservations to attend a filming session? Otherwise just see the city- downtown, ethnic areas, your booming high tech (which may be around the Marriott). M's into museums but I only like the ones with buttons to push.

Should we stay at the Marriott North after the fling or check out and move somewhere else? I want to make reservations soon.

M and I appreciate your help. Looking forward to meeting you.

Thanks alot guys for your kind comments. I have to stay it is pretty exciting having it going now. I am ready to drive and unfortunately, I have about got it finished when the bad wheather has set in. Oh well, I am sure I will squeeze some driving time in there somewhere. East Texas wheather can change by the day, so it shouldn't hold me up too much.

John, I don't know if you remember, but we met in Austin last year. I was the annoying one asking you about a million questions about your car!!!!! I am looking forward to seeing you guys again in Austin next year.

New Mexico, yes it is VCT flooring. Vinyly Composition Tile, I beleive it is called. It went down really well and is very affordable. So far, I have been real pleased with it. Send me an e-mail if you would like to know more. I can also send you some other pictures if you like.

Thanks,

Allen

Talking Sure I remember you!

Allen,
Of course I remember you! Questions about our cars never bother me, especially when they are coming from someone that is so genuinely interested and has so obviously been "Bitten by the Snake". I was in the same boat about five and a half years ago so I know where you were coming from.
I can't wait to see your car in person, because I still believe that is one of the most stunning color combinations I have ever seen.
I will see you in March!
