Freddie...understand your point, but remember, this is NOT $295 for 'track time', it is more aimed at a 'driver's ed' session for folks who want to learn to drive correctly around a track, and we have to pay for a number of instructors to provide that training. It is more aimed at the less experienced driver than yourself, that's all!
Once we have the track fully operational next year, we'll come up with different options!

Glyn, Since you are involved or at least know the people at the track what do you think their response would be to slow pace cars laps (under 30 MPH)? I totally understand and agreed 100%, the reason they don't want people on their track with unknown experience. But what I think most are asking for is a tour of the place. You never know who the customer is until they buy, good opportunity to show their product. If you would like for me to call, I'll be happy to talk to anyone. BTW did you ever work at Dell? Maybe the head of IT. db

OMG...Don Barnes! Is this THE Don Barnes who was also at Dell??????
YES, I was Dell's first real CIO from 1989 through about 1992 when that w@nker Tom Thomas arrived...LOL. Bill Dolahite, who owns the track, was the guy who drove the Dell racecar during the mid 90s and then went on to drive the Compaq racecar, and then drove for "Coach", Craig T Nelson!
Make sure we find one another. When will you be there on Thursday?
Glyn
