Requesting T.I.T. for 4/20/08
Well, I pulled the intake and pan off to hunt down the mystery knock, and with the help of John D., we might have found the culprit.
Rod bearing #1 on the left, #5 on the right. This is only 250 miles. Looks like we have a brand new block that wasn't cleaned properly.
I'm very lucky something didn't go REALLY BAD!!!
I'm requesting the T.I.T. for next Sunday to pull the new 427......damn.

Hoist, etc?
I will come help .. are you going to need my hoist, tranny jack, and JRoss' engine tilter? You'll have to figger out how to get it there. We might just want to let it all stay at your house and I'll come for it when I need it

Let's do a late pull. About 3:00 PM. I have a bunch of stuff to do Saturday; borrow everybody's tools, Dallas guitar show, community hazardous waste collection day. Then I'll finish un-hooking everything Sunday morning. I'll leave pulling the tranny and engine for Sunday afternoon for T.I.T.. It should take less than an hour.
Hey Sam, do I need to come pick up the hoist Saturday?

Thanks you so much Kristen,
I re-read Steves post about 5 times trying to place some meaning with his subject. Whew, and then you come in and start to post about a graduation and I was really confused. I know it doesnt' take much to confuse this Okie at this stage of my life.
Get everything fixed...I am. We will see you all at the Shelby meet in a few once I get all my little grimlins fixed....

Miles came up with the acronym. Sammy dubbed himself the Nominal Project Planning Lead (N.P.P.L.) of T.I.T.

Hang in there Ed & Clois,
Ya have to get up pretty early in the morning to keep up with us north Texas folks.
Just remember Sam always wants to be "up front" as the N.P.P.L..
I am a full fledge member of T.I.T.. But I am Sad About Grudgingly Yanking the engine again. Wait......that's a S.A.G.Y. T.I.T. member. (Sometimes I just crack myself up)
We've done two installs, and one pull in my garage alone. That's a record!! One install was the lift, but it still counts.

Sorry K, I didn't mean to steal your thunder.
I guess I am the official T.I.T. taste tester. The food taste tester, just to be clear.

Steve,
You need to call John Ross. He is the official T.I.T. hoister.
