OK Dallas guys. Are there no ex-military members in the club, or at least a ex Band Geek? Who had the blue car out of line? Us Anal-retentive types are just annoyed by that!!!!
Looks like a great time, It is still so hot in Houston it's hard to get a big group together. Hope ya'll got to meet James and Penny Wagner, we are sharing these great cobra folks with ya'll. Till March hope to see ya'll sooner.

Larry, you can blame me for that poor alignment. And I'm both an ex-college marching band member, AND WORSE..... an Architect. I arrived first and set my Mustang up, then the rest of the cars showed up. The guys started pouring in like salmon during the fall river run. Just when I was lining one up, the next one was damn near running me over. I'll take a more authoritative approach next time.
That's how the Chevy cross-over got by me........... just giving you s#@t Joe.
Look at the shadow guys. The sun is directly behind the cars. Weird looking shapes. Sam's car looks like it has holes in it.

You guys don't know Cobras Larry, that's Ross' Lone Star, and as you know, they are 4" longer than the original bodied cars like ERA. The rear is actually lined up
Steve, those holes are the racing hood hinge cutouts in the radiator shroud. All the original ERA race cars from back in the day had them. They provide ram air inlet to the engine house and facilitate evacuation of exhaust heat

SSSammy and LUvdablues
I should have know since I have the Yellow Lone Star!!! Our cars always stick out!
Luv,
My favorite story is about Rice Univ. One of the best architect schools around correct? I went to a baseball game at the old stadium a couple years ago and sat with a view straight down third base line. The fowl line looked like a drunken sailor had chalked it. I just kept thinking all night, all these incredibly bright young people and they can't draw a straight line.

A great video. Reminded me of last weekend. By the way Buana, turn in the direction of the skid.

I'm glad you raised your engine Richard or it would have been still sitting there.
I heard you leave and was worried when I looked up and saw the back of your baseball cap going the wrong way. I didn't get to see it live but I asked the kid that posted it on youtube to show me his video. Glad all that happened was slap on the head.
We looked up and I saw this Viper coming right at me so that was the end of my viewing. These guys only wanted to see a crash.
I saw this guy leave in a `94 XJ with his son in a carseat that got it sideways and I felt like it's time to go home.
Kudo's to those who left the back way and not on the access road.
You can bet TX finest will be there next coffee Saturday.
I thought it was a great show and think it warrants a regular visit.

Us Ex military types are here. It's just I was in the Navy, so we are used to weaving lines and stammering home.
