Where's the sense in it?
I think for some of us it's an expression of our mechanical artistic ability, to create what we think is the purist representation of the perfect iconic vehicle ,whether it's a 1932 ford or a Cobra.
It's a shame money has to ruin it. Whenever I finish a build and add up the receipts I get "Buyers Remorse" and then need to justify the expense to myself. I love driving my race cars the most, building them second. I get zero satisfaction taking them to car shows.
I will continue as long as I can afford it. I come to this web site to reassure myself that I am not the only one that suffers from this affliction. Thanks for the couch time.  |
