Just for clarity, are you saying that you like the MT over the new Vitour Galaxy, John?

I liked the MTs much better than BF Goodrich and Billboards. The Vitours are going on ERA 838 that is in process.

No feedback on the Vitours for several more months.

Another vote for the Vitour Galaxy R1. very limited inventory in the US now. put a set of 275-60-15 on rear and 235-60 front. replaced some old Goodrich TA radials. Night and day difference. had to get these off EBAY and the set were delivered for 550 bucks. 135 to force balance and mount. Great value for a speed rated tire to 168 mph. Had these up to 110 so far and smooth as silk. Handle great. david

Default ViTour 15” tire still good

Ive got about 2,000 miles on my Vitours for the fronts. Still a great street tire experience so far. I run sticky Nitto drag radials in the rear to keep it planted. Im just too paranoid to try anything but a 15” drag radial on the rear with the torque and power the tires have to deal with.

MARCH 2022 UPDATE. . Ive got about 2,800 miles on these Vitour R1 tires and still like them. No wear to speak of and theyre great for the street driving I do.

We use Vitour quite a bit, lacking options. They are made in China to German specs and show good potential.

On a side note: A lower (speed) rated tire can show drastic increase in rolling resistance above its speed rating.
