I am thinking that those are probably not road legal. They remind me of my Hooiser TDR's which are "DOT rated" but are a vintage race tire. All of the types listed on that website are for race cars or race classifications. That DOT classification is confusing for people at times. From a race perspective, a DOT rated tire basically means that it has a minimal amount of tread, i.e., it's not a slick. Having raced with my Hoosier's on a wet track, it is not something that you want to have on your car on the street unless you are wearing some good adult underpants . They hydroplane very well and you won't believe how quickly you will be getting a 360 degree view of the surrounding country side with only a minimal amount of water on the road surface.
