There's absolutely nothing wrong with a throwout bearing lightly touching the pressure plate fingers. Keeps the hydraulic system as self adjusted.
Master cylinder adjustment determines freeplay at the pedal.
Slave cylinder will follow PP fingers as the clutch plate gets thinner.
All cars have this type of system these days.
