Yup, and it's only November ......A lot can happen between now and the end of the year, although, if you think about it, technically, I did own #6 for a few hours last Tuesday.(floated a loan to a friend when he bought his kit from a local seller, as my bank was closer than his).......

Someone should post the time, location and route on a separate thread so people don't have to read through post after post to figure when and where.

I'd be happy to do it, but no one has answered my question as to whether they can do it Saturday instead.

Mike: Just set the agenda. There will never be 100% consensus. Those who want to go and can make it will. Those who can't or won't just won't.
I'm pretty much available. But if the weather is "ify" I'm a scratch. I don't do rain or snow.

I am in for either Friday or Saturday, but as Real 1 says, if the weather is "ify" I'm out.

I think we'll go with 649's suggestion. I'll start a new thread early next week and we can check the weather and everyone can post what day works for them. If the weather is good both days, we can go whichever day more people can make it.
But, I'm with you guys- if it's raining, I'm out too.

BlueRooster- I think you said you knew a lot of good roads. Start thinking of some good routes for us.

How long of a ride are you thinking about? I am guessing that you dont want to as far as we did last time?(frenchtown). We could go along the corridor of Rte 78 towards Clinton, or along Rte 80/23 toward Highpoint State Park. Both are nice rides. It would be nice to have a couple stopping points along the way to mix it up and regroup.
I think I have to work for a period on Friday after Thankgiving. What time did you(Chaplin) want to start the journey?

 BR-
Definetely not as long as last time- I think it's going to be a lot colder. Stopping points to regroup and get hot coffeee are mandatory. Highpoint State Park sounds good to me, but I'll defer to others if they want to go somewhere else. I figured we could meet at the Green around 10 a.m. and then head out from there.

This is what I think would be cool. Meet at the green in Morristown. drive down Washington st into Mendham, through Mendham almost to chester, make a left onto a road that takes you through parts of Bernardsville through Peapack-Glastone into Far Hills. stop and regroup. into Tewksbury and Oldwick, from there we can snake around Round Valley resovoir(sp) stop and regroup from there we can go into the town of Clinton stop and regroup. Go home to family.

I can only go Sat.BlueRooster has to work part of Fri., so I'm guessing Sat. is better for him.
And I belive that Evan, ERA649 and you can go either Fri. or Sat.

Therefore, it looks like Saturday is the better day, weather providing.

Roscoe- Are you around that Sat.?
