Eric, yes, about 200 cars. I too was impressed with the turnout like you since it was a rain date show!! We also had some other shows going on that were in competition!! Also, thank you for the compliments, it means a lot. And if that is your car pictured, simply beautiful!!!!

Never made it to the show today, Deb and I got some last minute 1st tier tickets to see Springsteen Saturday night at the old Giant Stadium. Did not get back to PA until late this afternoon.

Yep - that's mine! There was 1 other cobra at the show - I didn't get a chance to meet up with the owner before he left. Anyone here?

I did not see any other Cobra, but I probably did not get there until after 3:00.

We accidentally found something interesting to do for lunch, which was the 6th annual Carousel of Flavor. High Street was closed down in Pottstown at Hanover. There was live music and 8 local restaurants had food there. You bought tickets to purchase food and the proceeds went toward the carousel they are building in Pottstown. After we hung out there for a while and went home, I gathered up the kids and went right back out to head to the car show.

The Manderach playground looked like a mess. I looked it up on the web when I got home. They are replacing a lot of the old wooden equipment with non-wooden equipment. Well hopefully it will be nicer when they get done next Spring.

The restaurant thing sounds cool - remember any of the names?

The township had a display setup right outside the restrooms with details on the new playground. Looks like the same info is available at http://www.limerickpa.org/ (probably what you already saw).

A few of the restaurants were from Royersford/Limerick. I have the flyer here. Bause-Landry Catered Events, Cafe On the Lake, Casual Gourmet, Mama Velia's, The Pourhouse at Little Italy, Texas Roadhouse, Thyme To Serve and The Very Best.

It was a good way to sample some food from a few different places. I had some Chicken Marsala from Mama Velia's, Texas Beef Brisket Sliders w/homemade horseradish sauce and Kickin' Baked Beans from Cafe on the Lake, Decadent Flourless Chocolate Cake with whipped cream from Casual Gourmet and a can of Pepsi for $11.

I didn't see the plans for the playground. I just checked out the plans on the township website. I'll show them to my kids tomorrow.
