Well hey there neighbor, I'm from Kernersville. I live in CA now but all my vehicles are still registered in NC. As for the Cobra, I check a while back and was told they go off the year of the car. I'm getting a FFR and they are titled as a "1965 Roadster". Talked to the DMV guy that's actually going to do the inspection and he told me as far as the state is concerned, it's a 1965 vehicle. Which means no emmissions since NC uses the pre-73 model thing for emmissions testing. NC also goes by the county you live in wether or not you have to test. I know Forsyth has to dest but don't know about Guilford or any other surrounding counties. The DMV was pretty easy to talk to so just give them a call. Sorry, I don't have the number or the guy I talked to anymore. I would have to call again myself. Good luck, but I don't see it being to much of a problem.
