I have the same Ford Racing 427. I've been running a Holley 750 double pumper without choke. I just ordered a Weber setup fom Jim. The holley was exceptable after I got it jetted closer to the way I use it. It still likes to trailerhitch in the lower gears. Jim says I shouldn't have that oroblem with the Webers
A note on the the engine, Ford rates it's power at 5600rpm. I have an aluminum flywheel and instantly get into the 6000rpm rev limiter in the first two gears. I installed a 7000rpm chip in the MSD box and to my surprise the engine has massive power up to 6600rpm. Go figure.
