Terry and John

Terry

Would like to hook up with you guys on Thursday morning. Would be nice to meet up with the large Walnut Creek group in Auburn. Check out Johns Place post.

Vince:

I talked to Chuck. Apparently we have 6-8 cobras already committed for the meet in Grass Valley. We are planning to drive Highway 20 and stay off I-80. A much nicer drive.

Would be neat to hook up with the guys from Walnut Creek but that would mean moving those already planning on the 11 AM meet.

Would be great to have you join us!

Terry

I knew you'd wake up 1/2 hour earlier Ken if it meant you could find a caravan! Jim, Al, and others are good people. Glad you found a pod to go up with. Some of the best parts are getting there and driving up together :)

Try this link:

Location: KMart, 111 W. McKnight Way, Grass Valley
Time: 11 AM

See ya there. If you need better directions, call Chuck. I'm coming from the mountains on the other side of Yuba City and am not an "expert" on Grass Valley.

Terry

Got it, will see you guys at 11am. Is this parking lot large or will I be able to find you guys no matter where I park.

Terry Brown 05-17-2006 07:11 AM

Fairly small lot. You should see us (or hear us). As I recall from last year, we were parked pretty close to the sign. Any problems contact Chuck's cell or mine 530-219-6687.

Vince,
Use any route you want (Hazel, Auburn-Folsom,Douglas) over to Hwy 80. 80 to Hwy 49 off (Auburn-Folsom Rd. comes into Auburn to the right of the fwy. You can get on at old town). Take Hwy 49 north about 20 miles. After you leave Auburn it turns to 2-lane (each side). After the stop at Wolf/Combie it turns back to 1-lane then back and forth from 2-lane to 1-lane then turns into Freeway. McKnight is the first off after it turns to fwy. Take a left across the fwy and through the stops. The crazies will be on your left. Allow at least 1 hour for your drive.
