BTW, If you look at the formal specs for a Corvette LS1, they spec its 0 - 60 as 3.4. Hell, my little smallblock Cobra can do that (Drag Radials). I bet most of yours can too. Although once you get rolling, the ZR1 would fly by.

.
I think that the LS3 starts out at around 430 HP at the crank. The difference in weight between the two cars is huge.

" LMR claims to have the worlds fastest Corvette ZR1. With their added Reaper package the car dyno'd an amazing 752 rwhp and 787 rwtq at only 14 psi. This was all done with the stock supercharger and 93 octane fuel. The ZR1 can a best time at 9.93@140mph making it one of the quickest ZR1s to date. These numbers where achieved with the added boost, bigger cam and high flowing heads. "

A friend of mine let me take a run in his ZR1, yeah he's lost his mind but any way, when I down shifted to 3rd at about 80mph then run up to the rev limiter it was so fast it was hard to hang on to. It ran up to about 160 so fast it would make your head spin! I know our cobra's are fast but that car is fast with really good manners!

Default AC Gullwing

I believe the cobra from the uk in the video posted is the new AC Ace Gullwing cobra. They are using corvette engines in these cars. check out the below link.

My mildly modded C6 ZO6 is lighter than a ZR1, so it has about the same hp/wt ratio. My Cobra (370 rwhp, 2350 lbs) launches faster than the Z, but the Z buries it from higher speeds! The Z from 80-160 is amazing. After that 5th and 6th gear are too high.

That'll all change completely when I get my engine back from the Clayton's next week!!!! Then I'll need some better tires and diapers......
