Default Winter Party

Are we talking couples here or just the good o'l boys? Definitely has an effect on the day I vote for! Restaurants and folks will be busy with Holiday Parties etc. in December so I guess I'd lean towards the 7th.

Hi All,
The December date seems to be a little too close to the holidays,
too many people would have conflicting plans.
So, I vote for the January date. Not to be picky - But a weekend date might get more turn out?

We picked the 7th cause our last meeting was a week day and we had a great turn out. But if a weekend is better we will need pick another date. I will post here if there are any changes. I will be keeping the 13th as one of the dates. that will not change.

LALO's IS OUT. Won't take reservations. She kept saying that! oh well.

Default Winter Party

Hello Everybody,
I also think that a weekend in January would not be a bad idea. Week night can get a little busy with snow removal and all. I will talk it over with the other officers but I think that January 10th would be a good date. Watch for a posting. Thanks.

Weekend in Jan would be best (or a fri night). Has anyone thought of heading to a restaurant in Naperville? Great places to eat, close to I88, ....and close for me and Dave R! ;-) .........of course, I have to officially join first!

Naperville sounds good to me. That's about as close to city driving as I want to get! I'm more likely to be able to make it if it's on a weekend. Hey, there was a Portillo's a little west of Bob's house when we were there for the "Welcome Home" party for his new Kirkham. Would that be a bad place to have a meeting?

Default The date for party

It is apparent to me that since we are so close to December
now that it WILL HAVE TO BE a January date.

Mark any word from our officers?

Hello Everybody,
Half of the officers replied and Jan 10th is the date. We would not need more than two or three weeks notice so the Dec date is still possible. My vote is for Jan 10. I would like to give it until Thursday at 7:00PM to close the poles. If there are any question or comments, please let me know. Thanks.

Portillo's has a meeting room we could reserve, and I vote on some Friday or weekend in January, if its any other day then Friday I will need to call in sick to work " SNEEZE SNEEZE SNIFFLE SNIFFLE" I think I am coming down with something.

JAN 10th seems to be the day most of us can make it.

All we need now is a place and time.
5pm?
We will set up a place and contact on this site with details.
