Default WCCC Window Decals

I got a price on the window decals. They would be plain white lettering, 2 1/2" high (supposedly the same height as the Factory Five letters) and would simple read Windy City Cobra Club. Attached is a PDF file with the layout.

Our COST would be $9.00 each. I would donate the full $9.00 to Team Jenny in Windy City Cobra Club's name. Please feel free to add to the donation if you would like. I would like to get an order in for these as soon as possible, so let's see a show of hands for those that are interested. Any suggestions for a banner?

Tom

Wow...that looks really long.
Do you have an estimate as to it's final length?
I know that due to my height, I look thru the top section of the window. And that may be a problem for me.
How about our logo?
Just thinking out loud....

The size is similar to the Factory Five Racing and B&B Manufacturing stickers. We could use our logo for something similar to the Capital Area Cobra Club window stickers that they had in the right corner of their windows. One nice thing about a smaller sticker is it could be static cling and could be removed. I think the Logo would work great for a banner. I do not know if we want to add additional text. This is the logo we are talking about, right?

Tom
I like them both. I attach all kinds of stickers to the inside of my garage door. The long window sticker would be prefect.
The smaller static cling would be nice for every day driving.
So for either or both - I am in.

The Chicago Gear Head sticker that I have across the windshield has the letters being about 1 1/2 inches hgh.
I think smaller is better in this case.
I would also make all the letters capital it looks more uniform.

WINDY CITY COBRA CLUB

as far as th smaller cling stickers those are good with me.

I have the logo'd version in quite a few formats.
So let me know and I'll send them along.

Tom
Thanks for doing the leg work on this, good job. I like a thinner sticker, also like the static idea, with the inclusion of the club symbol in both.

The sticker that Arcenio has for the Gearheads looks perfect. Something similar to that would be fine by me...I'll put it on the rice rocket for now!

OK, here is the latest from the Vinyl cutter. If we cut the letter size down to 1 1/2" tall, with all capital letters as suggested by Arcenio, the window decals would be 18.5" long. Going to the 1 1/2" letters reduces the cost to 6.50 each.

He cannot do the logo unless we wanted to go with a white background and have the windshield be the color of the logo, which would essentially be the logo in clear.

He can do a banner of our logo. 3' x 6' would be 58.50 and 4' x 8' would be 104. This is the blue and white Windy City Cobra Club logo where the C's are made of the track. There has been talk of putting our logo on the BFG banners, and I do not know that this could be done cleanly, and I would also be concerned about copyright infringement. If we want to go with just our logo, or our logo with something else, say the word, and I will make arrangements. As with the window stickers, for the banner, I would be willing to front the cost for it, and if anyone wants to make donations towards it, I will forward them on to DV in the name of WCCC.

Hey Guys,

Tom is the decals your talking about cling vinyl?

Either way put me down for two. plain no logos please.

As far as the banner goes I think Blas had someone that may do one custom print banner cheaper.
I also like the club logo for the banner.

The other issue with the banner is trying to keep it a compact size so it could be transported in the cobra instead of larger,
say maybe 18" - 24" height and 48-60 long?

Just my thoughts.
Thanks
Arcenio

The decals are adhesive not vinyl cling. I could price out the static cling, but I do not know how they would look that long.

The 24 x 48 banner would be $26. He priced that out, but at first, I thought it was a little small. I see your point on fitting it in the trunk of a Cobra.

Well the price seems right for the stickers and the banner.

Hey Tom,
I seem to remember us having some kind of snake logo
when our club first started. I'll see if I can find it.

IMHO the cling window stickers should be
no bigger than 2 1/2 - 3 inches and look best round.

I like the one with the track for the banner I don't think
it would look right for the smaller sticker.

Check your mail.

I have ordered a dozen of the WINDY CITY COBRA CLUB windshield stickers with 1 1/2" letters. I have also ordered a 24" x 48" banner with the blue and white Windy City Cobra Club logo on it. A few of you have spoken for stickers, if anyone else wants them, let me know. I am doing the banner out of my own pocket and would gladly forward any donations on to DV for Team Jenny. The stickers cost $6.50 each, and I will be donating that cost to Team Jenny as well (feel free to make it an even $10.00 to Team Jenny).

Sorry, do not think they will not be in for the Poker Run (actually, I am positive they will not, as I just put the order in today, and they are getting shipped out. Also, I have a family obligation on Sunday in addition to wanting to try to sort out that rear end grind and the oil leak. Finally got my quick jacks back from Ker West, so I need to put those on too. LONG wait, but shine like nothing else. Too bad I do not intend to make my car a waxer! I wanted plain black on the pipes and jacks, but Maggie insisted on chrome.

Thanks for all the work you put into this. I will take two stickers if they are available -- I would also like to share the cost of the Banner. I will settle up the $ whenever I see you next. By the way when will that be? Volo? Picnic? Southside Snake & Eggs?

Rich

Yeah Rich I don't think the southsiders have breakfast places south of Wheaton?

Cause no one down there has called us out yet.
For a snake & eggs that is.

When I grow up I want to be a fender waxer!
