Beautiful work!

But Ralph...The noise from those pipes is gonna draw cops like blood in the water draws sharks...

Gotta sound awesome, though, while you can still hear it!

Ralph...Ralph...HEY RALPH...Did you have to rejet the carb for this?

I saw it yesterday. Pretty AWESOME. Also it pretty LOUD!! WHAT DID YOU SAY? Jerry, being the professional that he is, did an equally awesome job on it.

Jerry Clayton 03-18-2007 07:03 AM

Loud enough--Corey moved it outside so Warren and Bob could get there cars out and the cops were there before we could close the door---they said Bob's yellow car was speeding but we were setting still--or did they mean when he unloaded it--The board up service got to the Chev dealership and had the cracked windows boarded up in less than 2 hours

Very nice work Jerry!

Jerry Clayton 03-18-2007 12:37 PM

Jeff

WWW.SPDEXHAUST.com for u bends and clamps

Ralphs camera angle makes the pipe appear larger than the turnout but they are both 3"

Chris,
Should I use a pair of Holley 750cfm or Demon 825's
on top of the 8-71 Weiand.
I might have to cut the hood.

Glen

Glen remember what they say , " If it isn't BLOWN it SUCKS" wish I could afford a Supercharger, Jerry has some on the shelf over in his shop.

Glen 03-29-2007 03:44 AM

Jerry, hook me up brother!!!!
New fuel pump, one of your superchargers
and a clean diaper. I'm good to go!
I could use an extra 4500hp.
I won't even have to cut a good light.

CHRIS DAMSCH 03-29-2007 01:17 PM

Go with the dual Holleys. Don't forget to order the wheelie bar and the "Red" parachute like I did. (The red will just blend in with all the other cars in the rear view mirror.

Glen 04-03-2007 03:24 AM

33 day left

The guys that work on there cars are up to there elbow's in grease!
Those that don't are...............waxing fenders?

Chris, good thing, I went with a pair of 600cfm
The bad thing.........I'm spraying both of them!

Jerry

Glen 04-03-2007 09:04 AM

Jerry,
This is where all the trash talk is.
Then we see who can Walk the Walk on the 12 at the track!
Big trophy, plackered, stickers, all club donations.
And you Jerry, thanks for steping up to the plate.

slow_motion 04-03-2007 09:08 AM

Glen I thought it was on May 12th! Is your math bad or is it mine?

Glen 04-03-2007 09:57 AM

Yep,
May 12th

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-03-2007 01:00 PM

I hope I can make it down the track in less than 14 seconds. You know, with only having four cylinders and all.................................

We'll just have to wait and see.

Go team blue

Jerry Clayton 04-03-2007 06:30 PM

I think Murphey's Green FFR will be pretty fast----I found several tuning issues, one of which was the carb wasn't opening all the way( by a lot) and with vaccume seconaries this means that the seconary probably hasn't been opening. Look for probably low 12 early on with quicker later

Jerry

CHRIS DAMSCH 04-12-2007 10:37 AM

Wake up everybody.

So who plans on participating in the Byron Drag Day this May 12th?

Start signing in... We would all like to know.

jeffko 04-12-2007 11:21 AM

Oh yeah...I will be there for the red team.

Chris, do we need to slip the date until you get 4 more cylinders? Don't think you can get em from your dad. He is not running on all 8 anyway.

Glen 04-12-2007 12:36 PM

Chris and I can alternate in my BLUE car.

Chris, are you in! Ever driven a 427 w/dual quads?
It's just like a 3 cylinder.............
Foot to the floor brother! Just a quicker ET
