How's the Kirkham...
I am heading from South Australia up to Craig on the Gold Coast in Queensland next Friday. It is around 3000 kilometres - so will see about 14000 kilometres on my Kirkham. Just run in.
3000k is about - 1800 miles....
Doing the trip over four days - # 1. South Australia to Geelong. Then Geelong to West Wyalong for the New South Wales cobra event. Then onto Tamworth overnight. Last day Tamworth to the coast road, then straight up to the Gold Coast.
I have had a very good roof and side curtains made, as it is literally the middle of winter here, with tops of 18c - about your mid 60f.
...Mmmmm but "it's a dry heat there" I bet.
I have been talking to Hershal and he had the Texas Cobra Club at his Frederickburg home in Texas. Over 150 people turned up and he and Paula catered for everyone.
But unfortunately....
....there is no launch pad, so Mikiec and the Az. Cobra gang there would not have enjoyed the day..
I am about to give the aluminium body a good wash over and spray clean to get ready for next week. Just one of my weekend prep tasks.
Really looking forward to seeing Absolute Pace and the progress they are making on their cars. They're in full production mode now..
