After sitting in several different types and not being comfortable I ordered a Backdraft recently specifically because of the increased area in the foot box. The seat will be mounted on the floor without the slider as far back as possible to ensure no problems with the knees and the bottom of the dash.

I too have a BDR and enjoy it very much however, after about an hour of driving, I'm ready to get out and stretch...my problem is in order to stretch out my legs while driving I have to keep the seat back all the way which works well for leg room but then I can't depress the clutch all the way...Soooo, I solve that issue by keeping the seat close to the pedals unless I'm out on the interstate for a long stretch. I'm 6' with short legs.
