Miserable weather today, forced me from yard duties to reside in the shed.
I've almost finished 1 side of the headers.
Today's task was to TIG up all the pipe joins, after practising for an hour or so, I attempted the first pipe, got so frustrated with my crappy efforts, reverted bag to MIG, then did a flap and file job on it to clean it all up.
Fitted all the pipes back on to the flanges and tacked in place.
Just need to weld up all the flanges and right side will be ready for coating.
Thanks to Mike (Aussie Mike) I will bolt the flange to some of his spare heads to keep the flange flat while I weld it all up....Tomorrows Job, unless the weather fines up.
cheers
Dave
