I was a PCA Member for years (Sorry, sorry guy's  ) I had a nice 77 911S, that was a driver, Autocrosser, etc. So since I was a member and we had a track day @Pacific Raceways, and I was still racing my Alfa GTV, I entered to use it as a Tune & Test day, for the GTV, WELL after the first session, the Pres. quietly came over, and told me to put the Alfa back in the trailer, and go get your 911  I asked (WHY?) He said, it doesn't bode well that a little 1800CC Alfa is running faster than the 150K 6cyl. Porsches. So maybe some just don't like getting beat at their own playground Cheers TommyRot. |
