Ross Henry

Thank you for the Brackets if that is the direction I take forward.

Ok, today was a tear apart and figure out direction.
BG Rotors are ready for fitment, thank you Cobra Automotive.
Initial set up is a modern rotor and PBR calipers.
All to be removed.

Once apart it’s clear that there are two options either original steering arm or use brackets supplied by Ross.
Caliper alignment may dictate this decision.
Calipers still at Cobra Automotive getting new seals.

Jeff,

Yes, those are the options. That's why Ross, Rick and I came up with those brackets. You still may need some small washers to shim things, but they should be pretty close.

Nice looking rotors look just like mine with one small difference.

Looking forward to seeing things come together.

Jim

So the surface area comparison favors the old school units and the venting along with diameter favors the new.
Pins are same thread. Phew......
Assembly is easy however I need calipers for determination of caliper alignment. Nothing rubbing which also made my day.
So far so good, once I have a plan I’ll paint areas of untreated metal to avoid rust, clean surrounding area and make for better operation.

Jeff looks like you have uprights and hubs from George. It will surprise me if the adaptor brackets will work for you. They made them for the super performance. Anyhow I took a picture with a measurement. It might be helpful to see if the brackets will come close. The surface where the caliper mounts against bracket is 1 1/8 inches. In the picture the caliper is centered over the disk . The rule is against the disk and to the mounting surface of the caliper. This surface is that goes against the mounting bracket. If you can use the bracket. The mounting bracket goes between the rotor and the 1 1/8 mark and the bolt comes in from side by the 2 inch mark.

Picture is a little dark for me to see?? I do know that Paul at Cobra Automotive found some arms for me and they do match the calipers at the attachment point. So the question, what will be the best way to get the caliper centered on the rotor for best performance and equal clamping power.

Will need parts in hand first so I can identify best direction for me to take.
