Jacobsed. I'm Ace23 buddy. There are two doors on the blower case that allows the blown air to be directed to the windshield or on your feet. When I looked under the dash I observed one door open to the floor and the other was in the closed position. When I opened the closed door this allowed more flow of air to the floor. Although not as much force as my car yet it was better. My car 2423 has a switch that will change the flow to the windshield or floor. I believe the earlier car is something you would do manually. Correct me if I'm wrong. As far as getting a replacement fan there is an alternate fan that can be used but from what I recall was very pricey. Ace23 can fill you in on the details.
