The first one was a proper S/C configuration Kirkham and sold to market. The second was a dual roll-bar Kirkham which probably hurt its chances. The hardtop was an interesting throw-in but never-the-less the overall appearance kept it below $100K. That Superformance (third link), despite being an older production build and clearly put away wet each time, was actually a screaming deal. Not representative of medium price points for that brand, but occasionally you find one being given away around $40-42K (and they all tend to have small displacement Windsors and generally show a lack of overall care).

I hope the buyer of the $135K roadster is happy, as at the end of the day the rest of our opinions don't matter.
