And then keep at it! Alloy intake manifolds need to be retorqued on a regular basis due to the expansion / contraction factor's. Alloy heads/blocks compound the problem. While the Ford torque figures are around 30/35 ft lb for the 3/8" bolts and 20/23 ft lb for the 5/16 bolts, most alloy manifold / head manufacturers recommend a lower torque value due to the softer metal and expansion factor. Check with the techline of your manifold/head supplier to be sure.
