No, the fact that you would issue a "disclaimer,' by implication, means that you would indeed install a SFT if the customer made an informed decision to have one and was essentially "dead-set" on it.  I'm proud of you for taking that good business decision step forward, as I know you were hesitant to even go that far. Just remember, "the customer is always right."
